Panipuri / Golgappa Recipe

Today,  we shall see how to make spicy cum tasty Panipuri / Golgappa recipe at home. Panipuri recipe has been one of the favorite street food items by many Indians and it is also served as a snack item at home.

Ingredients:

S15_Readymade_Panipuri

20 pcs. of Panipuri Papad (Available at most of the Indian Supermarkets)

Oil for deep frying Panipuri Papad

For making Panipuri filling

1/2 Cup of White Chana (Soaked overnight)

3/4 Cup of Green Peas (Soaked overnight)

3/4 Cup of Chopped Onion

For making Pani

1/2 Cup of Coriander Leaves

1/2 Cup of Mint Leaves

2 Green Chili

A small piece of Ginger / Adrak

1/2 tbs. of Asafoetida / Hing Powder

1/2 tbs. of Black Salt / Kala Namak

1 tbs. of Salt

1/2 tbs. of Crushed Pepper

1/2 tbs. of Cumin / Jeera Powder

1/2 tbs. of Pani Puri Masala Powder – Optional (Available at most of the Indian Supermarkets)

4 tbs. of Tamarind water

4 tbs. of Jaggery Water

Method of Preparation

Step 1:

Mix overnight soaked White Chana, Green Peas & Onion together and smash it lightly.

Step 2:

In a blender, add Coriander leaves, Mint Leaves, Chili, Ginger, Asafoetida powder, Black Salt, Salt, Crushed Pepper, Cumin or Jeera Powder, Panipuri Masala Powder (Optional)

Step 3:

Add some water and blend it smoothly to a paste

Step 4:

Transfer the paste from the blender to a bowl and add 2 to 3 glasses of water to the concentrated paste as needed. Add a little salt as needed according to your taste. Along with this, filter and add Tamarind water, Jaggery water and mix it well.

Now the Spicy cum tasty Pani is ready for the Puri 🙂

Step 5:

Deep fry the Panipuri papads in oil and transfer it into a bowl

Step 6:

Lightly make a hole to the Puri and add the fillings into it.

Healthy Multi-Grain Breakfast

Today, we’re going to prepare a Healthy Multi-Grain Breakfast. This is a renowned recipe across South India that best serves to a healthy diet.

Ingredients:

Grains

Big White Kidney Beans

3/4 Cup of Big White Kidney Beans

Red Kidney Beans

3/4 Cup of Red Kidney Beans

Black Eyed Kidney Beans

3/4 Cup of Black Eyed Kidney Beans

Black Chana

3/4 Cup of Black Chana

White Chana

3/4 Cup of White Chana

Soybeans

3/4 Cup of Soybeans

Green Peas

3/4 Cup of Green Peas

Horse Gram

3/4 cup of Horse Gram

Mochai

3/4 cup of Mochai

Spice Powders

Coriander Powder

1 tbs. Coriander Powder

Cumin Powder

1 tbs. Cumin Powder

Dry Mango Powder

1 tbs. Dry Mango Powder

Hing Powder

1 tbs. Asafoetida

Crushed Pepper

1 tbs. Crushed Pepper

Black Salt

1/2 tbs. Black Salt

Salt

1/2 tbs. Salt

Vegetables

Onion

1 Medium Sized Onion Chopped

Green Chili

2 Chili Chopped

Coriander Leaves

1/4 Cup of Coriander Leaves Chopped

Lemon

1/2 Lemon

Mint Leaves Chopped for Garnishing

Method of Preparation

Step 1:

1 Water soaked grains

Soak all the grains overnight in water

Step 2:

2 Inside Pressure Cooker

Once after soaking grains for about 6 to 9 hours, wash the grains in running water twice and transfer it into a Pressure cooker

Step 3:

Add  3 to 4 glass of water to the pressure cooker and add salt as required

Step 4:

Cover the lid and pressure cook about 30 minutes and then transfer it to a serving bowl

Step 5:

Add all the spice powders & vegetables in to the serving bowl and mix it well. Add 1 to 2 tbs. of Lemon juice and mix it well.

Step 6:

9 Mix Well

Finally, add mint leaves for garnishing and serve it in a bowl
